WP3. Soil Management Concept

Main objectives: Guidance for municipalities and planning agencies how to integrate soil related issues in the urban planning process

Summary description and approach: Based on a collection of existing approaches and legislations related to urban planning a framework of the urban soil management system will be defined. This framework will serve as an umbrella for the SEA/EIA (Strategy of Environmental Assessment/Environmental Impact Assessment) guideline and the guideline for municipal soil management. This approach should guarantee that the management system is a “ready-to-use” product for municipalities in the program area.
